Volunteers

Currently our manpower consists of 2 Incident Management Controllers and 14 fully operational crew. We also have numerous other volunteers in administration.

Coastguard Lake Taupo operates with three volunteer crews who are on duty one week in three.  While on duty, crew members carry pagers for emergency call outs. All crew members are comprehensively trained to provide search and rescue to people and vessels in distress on our Lake and Rivers.
